Job Description

Minimum Qualifications Successful candidates will bring a combination of leadership ability, technical skills, and a passion for outdoor recreation.
Ideal qualifications include:
High School Diploma or GED is required Two years' proven hands-on knowledge of park, facility, or grounds maintenance operations, including equipment operation, trail maintenance, basic mechanical or small engine repair, and ensuring safe, reliable day-to-day site function Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and accountability in a team-based environment, including setting expectations, supporting performance, and maintaining workplace safety and professionalism Demonstrated ability to support planning and project coordination, including prioritizing daily responsibilities, delegating tasks, managing schedules, and completing projects efficiently Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Commitment to providing excellent service to park visitors and the community Ability to work outdoors in varied weather and environmental conditions Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Preferred Qualifications Experience working in parks, recreation, campground, marina, or public lands operations. Commercial pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain certification. CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain. Experience with budgeting, project coordination, or contract oversight. Knowledge of natural resource management and environmental stewardship practices. Comments Compensation & Benefits:
Salary:
$4,400 - $4,900 monthly Comprehensive healthcare coverage for you and your family is fully funded by the state.
