Chainsaw Mowing Driver's License Driving Full Job Description Role Summary:
Seasonal Public Works Employee assists with the maintenance and improvement of city infrastructure during peak seasonal periods. This position performs a variety of manual labor tasks related to streets, parks, facilities, sanitation, and other municipal services to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the City of North College Hill.
Key responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and repair of city streets, sidewalks, parks, and public facilities. Operate hand and power tools, mowers, weed trimmers, and light-duty vehicles. Assist with landscaping, mowing, tree trimming, mulching, and litter collection. Perform custodial duties in city buildings and restrooms. Set up for special events and city functions. Load and unload equipment, materials and supplies. Assist with minor construction, painting or signage work. Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized and safe. Follow all city safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). • Perform other duties as assigned by the Public Works Supervisor.
Required:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Possess a valid Ohio driver's license and a good driving record. Ability to perform physical labor in all weather conditions. Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
Preferred:
Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or municipal public works. Familiarity with basic power tools and outdoor equipment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods. Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
Pay:
$15.00 per hour
