Job Description

Part-Time| Open Until Filled Ashley Gorge Via Ferrata Attendant The Via Ferrata Attendant manages daily guest services, general facility operations, and rule enforcement at the Ashley Gorge Via Ferrata (AGVF) to maintain an organized and welcoming environment. In this role, the Attendant coordinates visitor check-ins by verifying entry paperwork, tracking daily attendance records, and ensuring all guests strictly adhere to posted property rules, trail etiquette, and standard regulations. The position serves as a primary point of contact, greeting visitors professionally, delivering route orientations, answering inquiries regarding trail layouts, and sharing standard site protocols. Additionally, this position monitors daily weather conditions for operational scheduling, keeps reception areas and trailheads clean and orderly, and coordinates directly with the county supervisor to report any maintenance needs or trail updates. Candidates must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hire, with completed or in-progress high school coursework preferred. The position requires a valid CPR/First Aid certification or the ability to successfully obtain it within 90 days of employment. Additionally, the selected candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and complete mandatory county training covering via ferrata operations, gear inspection protocols, waiver verification software, and emergency response procedures. This part-time position features a competitive wage of $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, alongside excellent lifestyle perks.
