Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pest Control Technician and Sales Representative, where you'll play a vital role in protecting homes, businesses, and outdoor spaces from pests while driving sales growth. This energetic position combines hands-on pest management with engaging customer interactions, offering a rewarding opportunity to develop your technical skills and sales expertise. You'll be responsible for delivering effective pest control solutions, educating clients on prevention strategies, and expanding our service reach through proactive sales efforts. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment plans Apply pest control treatments using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment following safety protocols Educate customers on pest prevention techniques, including landscaping, lawn care, and general maintenance tips Develop new client relationships through friendly consultations and follow-up visits to ensure customer satisfaction and retention Utilize driving skills to travel efficiently between job sites while maintaining a clean driving record Assist with the setup and operation of farm machinery or landscaping equipment as needed for outdoor treatments or property enhancements Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, customer interactions, and service schedules to ensure compliance and quality standards Experience Prior experience in pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly preferred Strong sales skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, or landscaping equipment is advantageous Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; comfortable navigating various terrains and outdoor environments Knowledge of pest control methods, safety procedures, and environmental regulations is a plus Ability to operate basic farm machinery or power tools confidently and safely Enthusiastic team player with a proactive attitude eager to learn new techniques and grow professionally
