About us Vanguard Termite Control Inc is a local company based in Redwood City, CA. We are professional, challenging and demanding.
Our work environment includes:
On-the-job training Safe work environment We are looking for a licensed Branch 3 Field Representative or Applicator.Duties:
Applicant must have the ability to withstand Bending, Trenching, Crawling, Ladders, for over 30 minutes at a time while performing chemical application.CLEANLINESS IS A MUST!
- Perform Termite control treatments at various residential and commercial properties.
- Inspect premises for signs of pests and identify the type of infestation.
- Determine the appropriate treatment method and apply pesticides or other pest control products.
- Assist with landscape maitenance and lawn care task as needed.
- Advise clients on pest prevention measures and recommend necessary actions.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments performed and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, and power tools.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who can withstand high tempatures in attics and crawlspaces while performing work, wearing a respirator. We strive on looking professional. So we are looking for someone who is clean cut and presents themself with pride.- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in termite control or related field is required.
- Knowledge of common termites, their behaviors, and treatment methods.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
