Full Job Description Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities A licensed Turner Termite Technician will perform treatments to structures in various stages of construction. This position will perform treatments to preconstruction and post construction, including installs, service calls, inspections, and other termite related services. And other duties assigned.
Duties include:
Conduct interior and exterior inspections to identify conditions conducive to termites Provide termite treatment for both pre and post construction The use of a variety of hand tools Calculate basic mathematic equations Establish effective working relationships with a variety of customers Use of handheld computerized equipment to manage service calls and documents Provide customers with general information about our various services Conduct service calls as needed Performs other duties as assigned Ideal candidates will: Enjoy working outdoors in varying weather conditions Be able to calculate basic mathematic equations Not have a fear of bugs, snakes, rodents, etc. Not have a fear of tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics Be able to withstand long periods of squatting, standing and walking; including the ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which includes an OSHA compliant respirator in some cases. Be able to lift/move up to 50lbs Safe use of portable ladders within the manufacturer's specifications and OSHA regulations Have excellent listening and communication skills Be competent with the use of new technology Be organized and able to manage their own daily route Be able to navigate their daily route with GPS Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to safety regulations
Qualifications and Requirements:
You must be at least 21 years of age You must have a valid Florida Driver's License High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to work independently, manage route-based work, and provide exceptional customer service.
