Job Description

Job Overview Are you energized by tackling pests and creating safe, pest-free environments? As a Pest Control Technician, you will play a vital role in protecting homes, businesses, and outdoor spaces from unwanted pests. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest activity and conditions conducive to infestations Apply pest control treatments using appropriate chemicals and methods, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Perform lawn care, landscaping, and basic farming tasks to maintain healthy outdoor environments that deter pests Use hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment efficiently for treatment applications and property maintenance Drive company vehicles safely between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and recommend ongoing maintenance plans for long-term protection Document all service activities accurately in reports and logs for record-keeping and follow-up purposes Skills Strong knowledge of pest control techniques, including chemical application and integrated pest management strategies Experience with lawn care, landscaping, farming, or agriculture practices that support pest prevention Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment safely and effectively Excellent driving skills with a valid license for transportation between multiple job sites Familiarity with the use of land management equipment and basic knowledge of farming or agricultural practices is a plus Strong communication skills to explain treatment plans clearly to clients and team members Motivated self-starter with a proactive attitude toward safety, learning new techniques, and delivering exceptional service
