Must be able to physically perform position including carry 20-to-60-pound backpack 3 to 7 miles per day. 2. Must be able to operate company van safely and have clean driving record. 3. Must be trainable to complete duties properly and able to be licensed by Georgia Dept. of Agriculture. 4. Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass Drug and Background Checks. Primary Responsibilities Our technicians' primary tasks are to protect our customers' properties from mosquitoes, fleas and ticks using the Mosquito Shield Proprietary blends of products. To accomplish this, the technician will be responsible to: 1. Mix products safely and in the proper proportions in both the van mix tank and backpack tank as necessary. 2. Drive the company van safely to and from customer properties. 3. Apply primary products using a 20-to-60-pound backpack throughout the property. 4. Identify additional concerns and remediate, apply secondary products, or inform homeowner if necessary. 5. Apply notification signs as required by EPA and Georgia Department of Agriculture. 6. Track all applications as required in the Pocomos system on a company provided cell phone including taking picture in Pocomos (CRM) of each completed property. 7. Do basic maintenance and cleaning on all company issued equipment including vans, backpacks, cell phone, etc. Secondary Responsibilities 1.. Customer service- Technician must be willing and able to speak with customers, neighbors, and the general public about our service, its benefits, and any other concerns they may have. Additional Salary Notes 1. Georgia Dept. of Ag. Commercial Applicators License Holders Receive $1000 Sign-On Bonus. 2. Unlicensed technicians will receive all licensing fees paid and $600 upon completion of licensing. 3. Technicians who finish season receive a significant retention bonus. They have won Best in Georgia two times, Best in Atlanta five times, and many more awards. Mosquito Shield pioneered residential mosquito, flea, tick, and fire ant control in 2001. They deliver superior results by treating more often and using a proprietary blend of mostly natural oils. We are a small company and experiencing exponential growth.
