We're looking for a motivated Wildlife/Pest Control Technician who takes pride in their work, values customer relationships, and wants to grow within the company. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical proficiency with customer service, ensuring satisfaction and safety for all. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and agricultural sites to identify pest problems and assess environmental conditions. Safely and humanely capture, remove, and relocate wildlife when necessary. Perform wildlife exclusion and preventative solutions to help prevent re-entry and property damage. Apply pest control treatments using appropriate chemicals and techniques while adhering to safety regulations. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery to implement pest management strategies efficiently. Assist with termite treatments, monitoring, and related preventative services. Educate customers on wildlife prevention, termite protection, and recommended treatment solutions. Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, pest activity observed, and follow-up recommendations. Drive company vehicles safely between job sites while managing equipment and supplies. Qualifications Proven experience in pest control, lawn care, landscaping, agriculture, or farming environments. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment relevant to outdoor maintenance. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicles safely. Knowledge of pest control techniques and safety procedures; certification or licensing as required by local regulations is a plus. Strong physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy equipment, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions. Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, on roofs, and on ladders. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration. Position Summary:
The Pest Control Technician will perform general household pest control services, termite inspections and treatments, and wildlife inspections and exclusion work. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, safety-conscious, and communicates professionally with customers and team members.
Pay:
$21.00 - $30.00 per hour
