search for a Quality Technician position in Locust Grove, GA. What's in it for you?? Pay based on experience ($58,000-60,000/year + MONTHLY profit sharing up to 52% total earnings!) Day Shift (Monday - Friday 8am-5pm)
Travel:
Approximately one week per month to support manufacturing operations and quality initiatives at another facility, including 4-6 weeks training in Ocala, FL We are seeking a Quality/Production Representative to serve as the primary liaison between manufacturing operations and the customer. This role is responsible for investigating quality concerns, driving corrective actions, supporting production issues, and maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring the highest levels of product quality and customer satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a manufacturing quality background who enjoys problem solving, customer interaction, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do:
Serve as the on-site quality and production representative supporting customer operations Investigate, document, and resolve quality and production concerns Perform product inspections and evaluations to identify defects and non-conformances Communicate quality issues, trends, and corrective actions between manufacturing and customer teams Coordinate containment activities and support rapid issue resolution Lead and participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities Monitor product performance and provide feedback to manufacturing teams Maintain accurate records, reports, and quality documentation Participate in customer meetings, quality reviews, and production discussions Partner with production, quality, logistics, and customer service teams to resolve issues quickly Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects and improving customer satisfaction Identify opportunities to improve quality processes, communication, and operational performance
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required Associate Degree or technical education preferred Previous experience in manufacturing quality, quality assurance, inspection, or production support Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes preferred Strong customer service and relationship management skills Able to travel as needed, about 25% #LP
