Job Description

MUST HAVE
Structural Pest Control license issued by the
Illinois Department of Health Job Summary:
Responsible for identifying, managing, and eliminating pests (insects, rodents, termites, bed bugs) from residential and commercial properties.
Core Job Functions:
Conducts thorough interior/exterior inspections to locate pests and identify the extent of infestations. Safely applies pesticides, bait, traps, and repellents around structures to eliminate pests, in compliance with safety regulations. Advises clients on sanitation, exclusion methods, and preventative measures to reduce future risks. Inspects for damage to property and identifies potential entry points (e.g., holes, cracks) for pests. Completes detailed daily reports and maintains required licenses and certifications. Certified applicators must maintain records of all pesticide applications, including the site address and EPA registration number, for at least two years. Provides estimates for services and, in some cases, selling, scheduling, or renewing service contracts.
Skills:
Must be able to maintain a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with staff, residents, and vendors. Must be detail oriented with the ability to identify subtle signs of infestation. Must be safety conscious
Physical Requirements:
Will be exposed to certain chemicals and may be required to wear protective gear. Standing and walking for long periods of time Involves extensive bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching with hands and arms. Will work in various environments, including extreme temperatures, noise, and heights, sometimes in cramped or uncomfortable positions. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel to various locations
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
