Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Pest Solutions Technician to join our team. This role involves conducting honest daily inspections, treating, and preventing pest problems in both residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of pest control techniques, exceptional customer service abilities, and the capacity to work independently in diverse environments. While experience in sales, pest management, or the lawn and turf industry is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. We are prepared to provide training to the most suitable individual for this position. This role presents an opportunity to acquire expertise in pest management while actively contributing to the well-being and safety of our clients' properties.
Duties:
Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify pest activity and entry points Apply appropriate pest control treatments using appropriate products, including at times hand tools, power tools, or specialized equipment Attend company meetings and trainings when required Develop customized pest management plans tailored to each client's requirements Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and ongoing maintenance practices Maintain accurate records of treatments performed and adhere to follow-up schedules Operate and maintain company vehicles in a legal and safe way Utilize driving skills to travel between multiple job sites efficiently and safely Assist with other techs when required Ensure compliance with all safety protocols during application and equipment handling
Requirements:
Prior experience or knowledge in pest control or lawn and turf is preferred but not needed. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Non Negotiable) Ability to operate various power tools safely and effectively Strong sales skills for client consultations and service upselling Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and education Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift moderate loads as needed Willingness to acquire new techniques and stay abreast of industry best practices Have strong work history without job changing often.
