Responsibilities:
As a Cultivation Technician 2, you will be responsible for executing a variety of essential cultivation tasks such as cleaning, transplanting, pruning, harvesting, and maintaining plant health. You will monitor plants for any signs of pests or disease and apply biological control agents and pesticides in accordance with company and state regulations. Keeping your workspace and equipment clean and organized is key to ensuring smooth operations. Additionally, you will collect and report work performance data to help improve cultivation practices.
What We're Looking For:
To be successful in this role, candidates must have at least one year of prior cannabis experience or 180 days as a Cultivation Technician 1 at Vangarden. You should be comfortable working in hot, humid conditions and following strict standard operating procedures. Proficiency in using aerial lifts and ladders, as well as managing a team of five or more during cultivation tasks, is essential. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid work ethic are required. The ability to adapt to changing priorities and work overtime or weekends when needed is crucial. Additionally, candidates must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods, lifting, and performing manual tasks.
