Position Summary We are seeking a Certified IPM Technician to lead and execute integrated pest management strategies within our cultivation facility. This role is critical to maintaining plant health, preventing infestations, and ensuring full compliance with all Michigan regulatory requirements. This position reports to the Cultivation Manager. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine plant inspections to identify pests, diseases, and environmental stressors Develop and implement effective IPM programs utilizing biological, cultural, and chemical controls Apply pesticides in accordance with Michigan regulations and safety standards Maintain accurate and compliant records of scouting activities, treatments, and plant health data Ensure full compliance with state regulations and tracking systems, including METRC Collaborate with cultivation and harvest teams to optimize plant health and yield Maintain strict sanitation and cleanliness protocols throughout the facility Assist in training team members on IPM practices and preventative measures Perform routine safety inspections and maintenance of spray equipment Work Environment & Physical Requirements This is a labor-intensive, physically demanding role Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Frequent bending, reaching, and squatting required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in indoor cultivation environments (heat, humidity, and odors) Comfortable working with, mixing, and applying chemicals Required to wear appropriate PPE, including Tyvek suits and respirators Facial hair must be properly groomed to meet half-face respirator fit requirements Must be able to obtain medical clearance to wear a respirator in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations Schedule Full-time position Shift options include: Sunday - Thursday Tuesday - Saturday Must have weekend availability Qualifications Valid Michigan Certified Pesticide Applicator License (required) Experience in cannabis cultivation or commercial agriculture preferred Experience with pesticide applications strongly preferred Strong knowledge of pest identification, plant diseases, and treatment methods In-depth understanding of integrated pest management strategies Familiarity with METRC is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience and certification level Opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding company Health benefits, paid time off, and employee discounts (where applicable)

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
