About Us Anteater Pest Control is a locally owned, family-operated company since 1993. We take pride in delivering effective pest solutions while keeping families, homes, and pets safe. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a reliable and motivated technician to join our team. Position Overview As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, and applying treatments in residential and commercial settings. This role involves both independent work and customer interaction, making professionalism and attention to detail essential. Responsibilities Perform pest control treatments for insects, rodents, and other common pests Inspect properties and identify pest activity and entry points Communicate clearly with customers about findings and treatment plans Apply products safely and in accordance with Michigan regulations Maintain accurate service records and notes Drive company vehicle to scheduled appointments Provide excellent customer service at every visit Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage a daily route Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, etc.) Pest control experience is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate What We Offer Paid training and licensing assistance Company vehicle provided during work hours Opportunities for advancement Why Join Us We're not a big corporate company.
