Pest Control Technician

The Pest Control Professional will be responsible for servicing the homes and businesses of Mantis Pest Solutions' customers. This role will encompass creating and adhering to industry best practices in order to safely and effectively mitigate against unwanted pests. The ideal candidate will be excited to learn, have great problem solving skills, an ability to communicate effectively, and a desire to interact with others in a professional manner. Responsibilities for Pest Control Professional Thoroughly inspect homes/businesses for signs of pest activity Identify target pest species, harborage areas, and access points Inform and document any preventative measures required by the customer to reduce or eliminate pest problems Apply the correct pesticide for the issue at hand, mixing product properly for the equipment being used Document and inform the customer of any pest activity covered or not "Check out" with the customer at the end of the service and verbally inform them of any of the above scenarios Utilize Mantis software to fulfill role Complete the acceptable amount of work each day and check out when finished Uphold Mantis service standards Ensure all supplied equipment (including work vehicle) is kept clean and well maintained Follow all federal, state, and local laws relating to the application of pesticides Maintain a courteous and polite manner when dealing with customers Operate work vehicle in a safe manner Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Great communication skills Ability to identify issues and develop solutions Strong sense of responsibility and integrity Friendly and professional demeanor Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Must be legally authorized to work in the United States High School Diploma or GED Preferred Background in agriculture and/or hands on work Previous customer service experience EEO Notice Mantis Pest Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
