) Do you want to work at a start-up pest control company with massive upward mobility? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of pest control methods, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. As a Pest Control Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients by effectively managing pest populations. Career Path & Training Program We invest in our team and promote from within. Every technician begins with structured training and a clear advancement path. Step 1: Part-Time Trainee (Entry-Level)
Duration:
One (1) week Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (40 hours total)
Primary Focus:
Ride-alongs and shadowing experienced technicians Learning equipment operation and product application Safety protocols and proper chemical handling Introduction to company standards and field procedures
Compensation:
$20.00 per hour
Outcome:
Successful completion of the training week qualifies the employee for the Initial Technician Trial Period. Step 2: Initial Technician (Trial Period)
Duration:
Four (4) to Six (6) months
Schedule Options:
Option A:
Monday-Wednesday | 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (3 × 10-hour shifts)
Option B:
Thursday-Saturday | 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (3 × 10-hour shifts)
Primary Focus:
Performing initial services for new customers Completing first-time treatments independently Working under supervision with performance review Delivering high-quality customer service
Compensation:
$20.00 per hour
Outcome:
At the end of the trial period, performance will be reviewed to determine eligibility for promotion to Regular Technician status. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and potential entry points Apply appropriate pest control treatments using various methods, including chemical applications and traps Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during pest control operations Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment plans and follow-up actions Provide exceptional customer service by educating clients on pest prevention strategies and treatment options Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery and adherence to safety protocols Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations Assist with landscape management as needed, including lawn care and maintenance tasks Experience Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery is a plus Experience in sales or customer service is beneficial for interacting with clients effectively A background in landscape management or lawn care can enhance your candidacy Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record Join our team as a Pest Control Technician and help create safe, pest-free environments for our valued customers while building a long-term career with real growth potential.
