Job Description
Job Description No prior pest control or pesticide experience is required. We provide paid, in-house training and cover the full cost of RT Certification, which must be completed within 30-45 days of hire . The Pest & Mosquito Control Specialist is a full-time position focused on both service and in-the-field sales . Specialists conduct inspections of residential and commercial properties, apply pest and mosquito control treatments, and educate customers on source reduction methods and proper application techniques. Specialists must provide excellent customer service, possess strong communication skills, and be comfortable identifying customer needs and recommending additional services. Specialists are trained to follow all state and federal laws and regulations and work under the direct supervision of the Technician Manager alongside lead technicians and staff. All technicians must obtain RT Certification within 30-45 days of their start date . This certification is completed in-house , and the company pays for the entire certification process . Performance Standards Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all pesticide applications. Deliver outstanding customer service and address customer concerns professionally and promptly. Consistently provide proper treatments to residential and commercial properties. Identify service opportunities and confidently recommend solutions to customers. Meet service quality expectations while working toward individual sales and performance goals. Weekly sales goals. Principal Duties Perform pest and mosquito control treatments at residential and commercial properties. Communicate clearly with customers regarding treatments, findings, and future service recommendations. Identify customer needs and present additional services and solutions in the field. Properly apply pesticides in compliance with company policies and all state and federal regulations. Safely operate company vehicles and travel to customer locations in accordance with traffic laws. Follow assigned routes and schedules provided by administrative staff. Operate backpack foggers weighing up to 60 lbs. Use mobile devices to access databases, routing, and mapping systems. Prepare daily field service reports and maintain accurate records. Hang door hangers or distribute marketing materials in assigned neighborhoods as directed. Communicate operational feedback with management and team members. Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment at all times. Knowledge & Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively. Ability and willingness to complete company-paid, in-house RT Certification within 30-45 days of hire . Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to travel to customer locations daily. Skills & Abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to sell services ethically and confidently. Ability to manage time effectively and work independently. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-based environment.
