Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help ensure a safe and pest-free environment for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pest control, landscaping, or related fields, along with excellent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and potential entry points. Develop and implement effective pest management plans tailored to client needs. Apply pesticides and other treatments safely and effectively, following all safety regulations and guidelines. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatments applied and follow-up recommendations. Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and the importance of regular maintenance. Operate various tools and equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery as needed for specific tasks. Drive to various job sites efficiently while ensuring the safe transport of equipment and materials. Skills Licensed in the state of North Carolina as a Registered Pest Tech with Proven experience in pest control or related fields such as lawn care or landscaping is preferred. Strong knowledge of pest identification, behavior, and treatment methods. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and education on pest management practices. Sales skills are a plus, as you may be required to promote additional services to clients. Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for travel between job sites.
