Technicians are expected to maintain a professional appearance, accurately document services, safely operate company equipment and vehicles, and comply with all federal, state, and company safety regulations. Services performed include, but are not limited to: General pest control Mosquito control Tick control Flea control Rodent control Rodent baiting, trapping, and monitoring Rodent exclusion recommendations Spider control Ant control Carpenter ant control Carpenter bee treatments Wasp, hornet, and yellow jacket control Cockroach control Cricket, earwig, and silverfish treatments Pantry and stored product pest control Exterior perimeter treatments Interior pest treatments Crawlspace and attic inspections Wood-destroying organism inspections Termite inspections and treatments Preventative pest management programs Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Must be at least 18 years of age Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a background check Strong customer service and communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, on ladders, and in confined spaces Previous pest control experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right individual. Previous experience in customer service, lawn care, landscaping, construction, home inspection, property maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or similar service industries is also considered a plus. Licensing Current commercial pesticide applicator licensing is preferred but not required. Candidates should possess, or be willing to obtain and maintain, all licenses and certifications necessary to perform services including: General structural pest control Mosquito control Tick and flea control Rodent control Cockroach and crawling insect control Ant control, including carpenter ants Carpenter bee control Wasp and stinging insect control Wood-destroying organism inspections Termite inspections and treatments Exterior perimeter pest management Interior structural pest management The company will provide ongoing training and continuing education to assist qualified employees in obtaining and maintaining all required state licenses and certifications.
