Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, and implementing effective pest control solutions. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and excellent customer service skills.Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest problems
- Determine the type of pests present and the extent of the infestation
- Develop and implement customized pest control plans based on the specific needs of each client
- Use a variety of tools and equipment, including power tools, hand tools, to apply pesticides and other pest control treatments
- Safely handle and apply chemicals in accordance with industry regulations and best practices
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns
- Document all services provided, including treatments applied and recommendations for ongoing pest control maintenance
- Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends, techniques, and products related to pest control
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in professional services or a related field is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and machinery used in pest control operations
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify pest issues and develop appropriate solutions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Sales experience is a plus as there may be opportunities to upsell additional services
- Drivers license and the ability to travel service area daily
