Job Description
Job Overview Pest Control technicians at Magnum Pest Control are responsible for executing pest control treatments at residential, commercial and agricultural properties. Technicians arrive at scheduled jobs prepared to perform the service, mix and apply chemicals according to company protocols, ensure the customer is satisfied before leaving the property and enter detailed notes into the CRM once the service is completed. They are also responsible for keeping their vehicle stocked, clean and fueled, tracking small tools and equipment and logging all chemicals used at each job. At this stage, technicians are primarily focused on the execution of treatments, though they're expected to connect any interested neighbors or customers with the owner for follow-up. Responsibilities at a glance Arrive on time and prepared for each scheduled job Notify customers of arrival if a heads-up call has been requested Mix chemicals and perform treatments in accordance with company protocols and label directions Place yard signage at each property following service Ensure the customer is satisfied before leaving the property Enter accurate and detailed CRM notes for every job on the same day it is completed Log all chemicals used per job as required Monitor and replenish truck supplies daily Fuel vehicle and truck-mounted sprayer as needed Keep vehicle interior clean and organized at all times Track and maintain small tools and equipment Report any vehicle issues, supply shortages or unusual job conditions to the owner promptly Attend the morning briefing and review job-specific notes before heading out What success looks like as a pest control technician Jobs are completed correctly and on time every day without the owner needing to follow behind CRM notes are detailed, accurate and submitted same day
