Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Wildlife Exclusion Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for inspecting residential and commercial properties, identifying wildlife and pest concerns, and implementing effective solutions. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a variety of environments, including rooftops, attics, crawl spaces, and other confined areas. Because we are a small company, this role will also include completing general pest control services throughout the year. Additional pest control training and licensing will be provided as needed. Starting pay will range from $20-$25 based on experience. Additionally, there are commission based bonuses available after the training has been completed. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify wildlife and pest activity Determine the type of wildlife or pest issue present and the extent of the problem Develop and implement customized wildlife and pest control plans based on the needs of each property Trap, capture, and exclude nuisance wildlife Repair entry points on structures in a clean and aesthetically pleasing manner Use tools such as drills, saws, snips, ladders, and other equipment safely and effectively Work on roofs, in attics, crawl spaces, and other elevated or confined areas Educate customers on sanitation, prevention, and other measures to help reduce future pest or wildlife activity Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction Complete general pest control services as needed throughout the year Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in wildlife, pest control, construction, roofing, or a related field is preferred but not required Experience using basic hand and power tools is preferred Comfortable working at heights, on roofs, in attics, crawl spaces, and in varying weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
