Pest Control Technician

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Rotating weekends and overtime as needed

Location Requirement:

This position requires the technician to live and work in Cleveland Heights or the nearby surrounding Eastside cities to ensure efficient response times for scheduled services.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and professional Pest Control Technician to join our team. The technician will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, and performing treatments in residential, commercial, and multi-unit facilities. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect properties to identify pest activity and potential entry points Safely apply pesticides and other treatments according to company and regulatory guidelines Provide preventative pest control services Educate customers on pest prevention best practices Maintain accurate service records and documentation Operate company vehicle and equipment safely Work quickly and efficiently to complete scheduled routes without sacrificing quality Participate in a rotating weekend on-call schedule and work overtime as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments (indoors/outdoors, heights, crawl spaces) Must reside in Cleveland Heights or nearby surrounding Eastside cities Prior pest control experience and applicable licensing preferred (training provided if needed)
