Seasonal Pest Control Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Service Technician to join our team for All-Natural, NON Chemical Pest Controls sprays, both backpack and power sprayer. Our technician will be driving to our clients and appropriately spraying according to the subscribed services.

Must be:

18+, Clean Drivers License, Able to Lift/Carry 50-60 Lbs (backpack). We are looking for someone that can work ~16 hours a week in general and be somewhat flexible as our business is dependent on good weather. Students are just fine to apply as long as they are already 18 & have their DL. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of equipment prior to servicing clients. Diagnose and repair issues related to equipment. Call into supervisors immediately if equipment isn't working to expectations. Conscientiously use company technology to report time on site, use of product for future reporting purposes. Conscientiously perform admin tasks required of technicians as it relates to customer service and goodwill. As required, make notes of service stops that leadership can review and prescribe follow up services or client communications. Perform post-service route tasks to clean equipment, prepare for the next service route, and report any issues to management.

Requirements:

Must be able to carry a 50-60 lb backpack (this is about 60% of the overall duties). Must be able to drive an 8 ton pick up truck. Clean drivers license is a must. Must be able to use mobile technology and keep accurate records. Must be willing to perform admin tasks such as posting yard signs, door hangers, etc. Able to speak with clients in a professional manner and refer to management for any issues that arise. MUST be able to follow directions, show up on time and be flexible. This business is very dependent on weather

• rainy days may mean a day off with the next sunny day being 12+ hours long.

Background:

We are a newer business and growing. For now, this is considered a seasonal role however we expect that this will be a repeat seasonal role with strong growth potential to a full time position and management potential.
