Pest control technician,
Bug Zapper has been an Oregon company since 2013. We're not a national rollup and we're not getting acquired and restructured next year. We're real technicians doing real work for Oregon families, and we back every job with a one-year guarantee and unlimited re-treatments: if the pests come back, so do we. We're hiring a full-time pest control service technician to run a residential and commercial service route around Medford. You read the property, find what's actually driving the problem, treat it with pet-safe products applied with care, and explain to the customer what you did and why. Our customers stay because they know their technician by name, and that technician could be you. What you'll do: Inspect homes and businesses, find the source of the pest activity, and choose the right treatment, whether that's product, exclusion, traps, or a combination Apply treatments safely and to label, with the right protective equipment every time Explain your findings in plain language and keep customers on service because they trust you Keep clean records so the next visit picks up where you left off What we're looking for A licensed pest control technician with a current Oregon Commercial Pesticide Applicator license, IIHS / Structural Pest Control category, or a valid Washington or Idaho equivalent you're willing to convert (Oregon has reciprocity with both) Strong people skills, because you're the face of the company at someone's front door A valid driver's license and clean driving record The physical stamina to climb into crawl spaces, handle stairs, and lift 50 lbs regularly Comfort working outdoors in all weather A high school diploma or GED, and a clean background check IPM experience is a plus What's different about working here Hourly, not commissioned. You're paid for the work, never pushed to upsell. A real route you own, with customers who know you by name. Real technicians, no apprentices. You'll work alongside licensed peers, not train a revolving door of new hires. We do it right the first time, so you spend your week on real work, not damage-control callbacks.
