Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. You will utilize your expertise in pest control methods, equipment, and customer service to ensure a pest-free environment for our clients. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while driving to various job sites. Position Qualifications Valid Drivers License Good Driving Record Can NOT have a Bee Allergy Good People Skills Position Benefits Health Insurance and Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance Retirement Program Company Vehicle (After Training is complete) Company Phone Salary Pay Paid vacation, Holidays, and Sick Time Paid Training Responsibilities Available to work Monday-Friday Required to Work 1 Saturday a month Must be able to Study and Pass the Pesticide Applicator Examinations Operate the company vehicle safely and care for vehicle and equipment as if it were your property Communicate with customers Simple math Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and determine appropriate treatment plans. Apply pest control treatments using various methods, including chemical applications and traps, while adhering to safety regulations. Utilize equipment and hand tools effectively for pest management tasks. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment details and follow-up actions. Communicate with clients regarding pest issues, treatment options, and preventive measures. Drive to job sites efficiently while ensuring the safe transportation of equipment and materials. Collaborate with team members on larger projects or complex pest control situations. Stay updated on industry trends, pest control techniques, and safety protocols. Skills Knowledge of pest control methods and best practices is essential; prior experience is a plus. Ability to drive safely and efficiently to various locations while managing time effectively. Familiarity with landscaping practices can be beneficial in understanding outdoor pest environments. Sales skills are advantageous for promoting services and building client relationships.
