- Temporary, Full-time Narragansett Pest Control is hiring a Seasonal or Full Time Pest Control Technician to provide residential and commercial pest management services.
Responsibilities:
Inspect residential and commercial properties to identify pest activity, structural damage, and entry points. Determine and implement integrated pest management solutions including chemical and nonchemical treatments. Apply general use and restricted use pesticides in compliance with Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management regulations. Educate customers on pest prevention methods and provide advice on mitigating future infestations. Mix, handle, and store pesticides safely in accordance with state and federal laws. Set mechanical traps and bait stations for rodents, wildlife, and other target pests. Operate and maintain pesticide application equipment and company provided service vehicles. Maintain accurate service records of all applications, inspection results, and treatment plans as required by state law.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum age of 18 years old. Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record. Current Rhode Island Commercial Applicator License or the ability to complete the required exam. Paid training is provided. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor including lifting equipment up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and navigating confined spaces. Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and adherence to safety protocols.Compensation and Benefits:
$22 to $35 per hour based on experience and active certifications. Paid on the job training and support to obtain required licensing. Continuing education to maintain state certification. Company provided uniform, safety equipment, and daily commuting vehicle.Pay:
$22.00- $35.
