As a Pest Control Technician, you'll perform inspections, apply treatments, and educate clients on pest prevention strategies—all while developing your skills in pest management, lawn care, landscaping, and farm machinery operation. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest activity and entry points Apply appropriate pest control treatments using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to eliminate pests effectively Perform lawn care, landscaping, and basic farming tasks to maintain healthy outdoor environments that deter pests Operate farm machinery and power tools safely for property maintenance or treatment applications Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to safety protocols and traffic laws Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and recommend ongoing maintenance plans Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, materials used, and client interactions for compliance and reporting purposes Skills Strong knowledge of pest control methods and products Experience with lawn care, landscaping, farming or agriculture practices Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and effectively Ability to operate vehicles confidently and responsibly Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration Basic understanding of land management techniques to support pest prevention efforts Willingness to learn new skills related to pest management, lawn care, and equipment operation Embark on a rewarding career where your energy fuels community well-being!
