Pest Control Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of pest control methods, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely. The Pest Control Technician will work closely with clients to provide effective solutions while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and determine the best course of action. Apply pest control treatments using appropriate methods and materials, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines. Provide clients with information on pest prevention techniques and maintenance practices. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment plans and client interactions. Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed for various pest control tasks. Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential upsell opportunities for additional services such as lawn care or landscaping. Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and techniques related to pest control and agriculture. Perform Termite Inspections Requirements Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Strong sales skills to effectively communicate service benefits to clients. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for travel between job sites. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
