In this energetic role, you'll utilize your expertise to identify, treat, and prevent pest infestations across residential and commercial properties. Your proactive approach will help clients enjoy pest-free environments while you develop your skills in pest control. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to combine technical proficiency with customer service, all while working outdoors and on the move. Base pay shown does not include potential sales that will increase your pay. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest activity and potential entry points Apply pest control treatments using appropriate chemicals and equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed Develop customized pest management plans tailored to each client's needs, including recommendations for ongoing prevention Utilize hand tools and power tools as needed for treatment applications or property maintenance Drive company vehicles to various job sites, maintaining a clean driving record and adhering to safety standards Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and best practices for maintaining pest-free environments Qualifications Valid license as a Pest Control Technician in accordance with state or local regulations Proven experience in pest control operations, with knowledge of pest behavior and treatment methods Familiarity with Field Routes pest management software is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools, carry pest spraying equipment, and other equipment safely and effectively Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; comfortable navigating diverse terrains and properties Excellent communication skills to explain treatment plans clearly and professionally Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods Join us in creating healthier environments by combining your technical expertise with your passion for outdoor work!
