Full-Time Job Overview T-Rex Pest Control is a locally owned, family-operated pest control company looking to add a Full-Time Pest Control Technician to our team. This is a hands-on position for someone who is hardworking, dependable, willing to learn, and eager to excel. As a technician, you'll work directly under the two owners and play an important role in protecting homes and businesses from unwanted pests while delivering the high level of customer service our company is known for. This is not a sit-behind-a-desk job. You must be comfortable working outdoors, driving between job sites, climbing ladders, entering attics and crawlspaces, and working 6-10 hour days in the Texas heat. Responsibilities Perform pest control services for residential and commercial customers Inspect homes, businesses, attics, crawlspaces, exterior areas, and other spaces for pest activity and entry points Apply pest control treatments safely and effectively using sprays, baits, traps, dusts, and other professional products Communicate clearly with customers about services performed, findings, and prevention tips Maintain accurate service records and follow company procedures Drive a company vehicle safely between scheduled stops Use ladders, basic tools, and pest control equipment as needed Follow all safety protocols and Texas pest control regulations Represent T-Rex Pest Control in a professional and respectful manner Requirements Must be 18 years or older Must have a valid driver's license Must have a clean driving record with no DUI or DWI Must be able to pass a drug test and background check Must be willing to work 8-10 hour days in the Texas heat Must be comfortable getting on ladders, roofs, attics, crawlspaces, and tight spaces Must be hardworking, reliable, and willing to learn Strong communication skills are required Prior pest control, lawn care, landscaping, construction, farming, or outdoor work experience is a plus, but not required What We Provide Company take-home truck Gas card Company phone number Hands-on training Opportunity to work directly under the owners A chance to grow with a locally owned company that values hard work, communication, and customer service Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, shows up on time, and wants to build a career with a growing local company.
