Job Description

Innovative Wildlife Solutions Is looking for the Wildlife Technician's We are looking for a person who has the ability to mitigate wildlife damage with an innovative approach. Those persons who have the ability to visualize how to mitigate wildlife issues using the highest quality bird deterrent supplies. The right person will be able to identify the problem, decide which tool to incorporate, and install these supplies in a professional clean manner. Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for identifying and eliminating pests from residential or commercial properties by conducting thorough inspections, determining the type of pest infestation (nesting ,perching, feeding).
, applying appropriate wildlife deterrent, and traps, and providing preventative measures to prevent future infestations, all while adhering to safety regulations and communicating with clients about wildlife control solutions and planning on upcoming work permits. This position requires a self motivated individual able to complete tasks within several areas within King County.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points
  • Apply approved pest control products and appropriate exclusion or deterrents, including post and wires, spikes, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards
  • Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment
  • Provide advice on how to reduce the risk of future infestations. Have a basic knowledge of wildlife attractants and knowledge to deter or exclude wildlife.
  • Build relationships with customer, schedule permits two weeks in advance and confirm site visit appointments,
  • Ensure that all pest control equipment is properly maintained, stocked, and in good working condition
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols
  • Drive and safely operate rental equipment, understanding of basic tools and ability to use tools in safe manner.
  • Working in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
  • Working around animals primarily rock pigeons, insects and wild animals
  • You'll sometimes be working around mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights and scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals
  • Able to work both inside and outside in various climatic conditions
  • Lots of moving around ability to lift 50Lbs.- regularly sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
  • You'll need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant safety harness
