Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Field Technician to join a well-established organization specializing in underground and surface mining equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge equipment, including crushing equipment, and surface drills, while being part of a team that values its employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair underground and surface mining equipment, focusing on electrical and hydraulic systems. Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and emergency repairs in the field. Use provided laptops equipped with OEM diagnostic software to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Occasionally assist in shop-based repairs when fieldwork is not required. Maintain clear communication with service managers to prioritize and execute tasks.

Qualifications:

4-5+ years of journeyman-level technician experience. Expertise in mining equipment diagnostics and repairs, including proficiency in electrical and hydraulic schematics. Experience with Sandvik, Volvo, CAT etc. crushing equipment, or surface drills is a strong asset. Strong physical fitness to handle the demands of fieldwork. Valid driver's license and ownership of hand tools.

Compensation and Benefits:

Wage:

$30 - $45 per hour

Overtime:

10+ hours weekly, as required by field demands.

Schedule:

Flexible field hours shop schedule includes 4 day work weeks with 10-hour shifts - Fridays off (Mon-Thurs OR Sun-Wed)

Service Truck:

Assigned as needed, no CDL required.
