Overview We are seeking dedicated and skilled Groundsmen for our tree service team. As a Groundsman, you will play a crucial role in supporting tree care operations, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our services. This position requires a strong commitment to landscape maintenance and a passion for working outdoors. You will assist in various tasks related to tree trimming, and overall landscape management. Duties Assist arborists in tree trimming and removal operations. Operate equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and bucket trucks safely and efficiently. Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries on-site. Collaborate with team members to complete projects effectively and efficiently. Support the rigging process during tree removal or trimming tasks. Help with the transportation of materials and debris from job sites. Skills Proficient in bucket operation for safe access to elevated areas during tree work. Understanding of tree care principles, including growing practices and health assessments. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods outdoors.
