Duties Start your day knowing it probably won't be typical and brand-new tasks not listed below are bound to come up. Select routes and place/bury drops for residential fiber plant. Operate equipment needed to install buried drops. Yard and landscaping restoration. Climbing a ladder will be required for aerial drop work. Whether flying solo or tackling the day as a team, you'll be expected to work efficiently and productively. Flexibility is key. Select materials for use in construction of fiber distribution system. Secure necessary locates through 1-call system before work is initiated. Document the construction of fiber plant and provide daily and weekly production reports to the Supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Provide a safe work environment by being knowledgeable of and enforcing all state, local, federal safety regulations and company safety policies. Operate and monitor company-owned vehicle and equipment by inspecting condition daily and maintaining a valid driver's license. Restoration work•duties as assigned. Ability to accept periodic assignments that involve travel away from immediate home office area based on client needs, business needs and project scope. You will be expected to lift up to 100 pounds. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Proven experience in field service roles within telecommunication or construction environments involving fiber optics or electrical systems. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as bucket trucks confidently and safely. Skilled in fiber splicing techniques along with knowledge of telecommunication standards and schematics. Familiarity with computer networking concepts including LAN, Ethernet, WAN, low voltage wiring, and network infrastructure components. Experience working with hand tools, power tools, electrical systems, and low voltage cabling in construction settings. Strong climbing skills with the ability to work at heights while following safety procedures. Knowledge of electrical experience related to telephony systems and IT infrastructure is highly desirable. SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES

Thorough knowledge of ALLO construction procedures. Ability to gain knowledge of fiber construction and material. Basic knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word and the ability to learn Smartsheets. Ability to communicate with internal and external customers, contractors and company employees. Ability to work evenings and weekends. Ability to travel outside of the home office area for extended periods of time based on project and business need.
