What makes us unique in our industry is that we are a woman-owned business founded by a registered nurse with a background in medical waste management and hospitality. We strive to bring high level processes to the residential setting. We are honest, work with integrity, and guide the families through a very tough process with grace and understanding. Our core values are compassion, integrity, communication, and pride.About the role:
The Tech works as a part of the on-site team to clean biohazard situations, such as suicide, unassisted death, hoarding, homeless encampments, etc. This role reports to the Supervisor. While biohazard industry experience is a benefit, it is not required. The BIO-Clean Team provides comprehensive training and certification on safety and compliance, biohazard cleanup process and procedure, and customer service. We are committed to training our Techs for success.Ideal candidate:
You have a heart for helping people on their worst day. You like working in a hands-on environment and being part of a team. You take safety seriously and follow procedures unsupervised. You have strong problem-solving skills and effective communication skills. You have open availability in your schedule.Core responsibilities:
- Work alongside on-site team to clean up after situations such as suicides, homicides, unattended deaths, accidents, and in hoarding and homeless encampment situations.
- Arrive on-site on-time and prepared.
- Follow on-site work directions from Tech Lead and/or Supervisor to ensure 100% safety and customer satisfaction.
- Follow safety procedures toward 100% safety compliance.
- Complete on-site documentation tasks (paperwork, photos, logs, etc.) as directed by Tech Lead and/or Supervisor.
- Keep truck, equipment, and supplies in good condition.
- Participate in ongoing training of processes and safety compliance.
Candidate requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Must have full availabilty for emergency clean-ups (Shool, military exceptions, and shift accommodations can be made)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently
- Ability to work in hot environments for hours at a time
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow through on tasks unsupervised
- Experience using hand or power tools
- Smart phone and/or ability to be contacted by management Preferred Qualifications
- Background in construction, demolition, restoration, or experience in similar, knowledge of hand tools helpful

Considerations All technicians wear masks and dress in full PPE on the job sites. This is an essential business. Covid cleaning may be part of job requirements. PPE and training is provided.Job Types:
