Tree Climber

Job Overview Proper Cut Tree Care is seeking an experienced dependable climber and hard working team member to assist with professional tree maintenance, removals, trimming. This role involves outdoor physical work, operating equipment, excellent customer service while maintaining high alert for safety. Responsibilities Safely ascend trees using rigging techniques and climbing gear to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts to access high branches efficiently and securely. Perform landscape maintenance activities such as lawn care, planting, and general site upkeep to complement tree work Apply proper tree care practices aligned with horticultural standards to promote healthy growth Assist with rigging setups for safe removal or pruning of large or hazardous trees Requirements Proven growing experience in arboriculture, horticulture, or related landscape fields Knowledge of tree care techniques including pruning, trimming, and disease management Ability to operate equipment such as bucket trucks and other landscaping tools safely and effectively Familiarity with rigging procedures for safe tree removal or limb disassembly Strong physical fitness with the ability to climb, lift heavy loads, and work at heights comfortably Must have a valid Drivers License or CDL Spanish speaking ability is a plus or Bilingual Embark on a fulfilling career that combines physical activity with environmental stewardship!
