Tree Care Crew Supervisor Bilingual Spanish 14370 Collier Blvd, Naples, FL 34119 Full-time Full-time Primary Purpose Under the direction of the Arbor Manager, lead and mentor three tree care crews by providing daily guidance, support, and direction tailored to each crew's experience and operational needs. Perform advanced tree care services, including pruning and removals, by climbing trees or operating aerial lift equipment. Support all ground operations while fostering a culture of safety, professionalism, and teamwork. Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships through high-quality workmanship, clear communication, and a commitment to exceeding expectations. Ensure all company standards, procedures, and safety protocols are consistently followed and upheld. Essential Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and coordinate daily tree care operations and job sites. Provide hands-on leadership, training, and support to crew members. Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are clean, safe, and operating efficiently. Assist with daily vehicle inspections and perform routine aerial lift truck inspections. Perform tree pruning, limb removal, and complete tree removals. Assess trees for structural defects, decay, fungal growth, deadwood, weak branch attachments, and other potential hazards. Safely operate aerial lifts and other specialized equipment. Grind tree stumps and manage post-removal site cleanup. Prepare brush and logs for chipping, loading, and disposal. Operate chainsaws and heavy equipment to process and move large debris. Chip brush, load logs, and perform stump grinding operations. Prune small trees and trim shrubs from the ground. Ensure job sites are maintained in a safe, organized, and professional manner. Perform additional duties as assigned to support company operations. Additional Responsibilities Participate in and help lead training initiatives, committees, and employee development activities. Assist with planning and organizing company events, including employee appreciation gatherings, holiday celebrations, and team-building activities. Attend industry seminars, workshops, and training programs to expand technical knowledge, leadership skills, and professional expertise. Contribute to a positive workplace culture focused on safety, continuous improvement, and excellence in service.

RESPONSABILIDADES

Supervisar y gestionar las operaciones diarias del trabajo Subirse a los árboles y operar elevador/aéreo para podas y remociones Inspeccionar árboles en busca de riesgos: descomposición, ramas muertas, uniones débiles y levantamiento de raíces Operar motosierra, trituradora de ramas , desbrozadora de tocones y cargadora Realizar inspecciones diarias y mensuales de equipos y vehículos Mantener herramientas y equipos limpios y en buenas condiciones de funcionamiento Apoyar las operaciones del equipo en tierra Participar en comités de capacitación y eventos de la empresa

Working Conditions:

Work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather and many different types of conditions such as; dusty, hot, muddy, level properties, and steep hillside properties.

Equipment Used:

Climbing saddle and accessories, Climbing spurs, aerial lift, chainsaw, pole saw/ pruner, gas powered pole saw, gas hedger, lowering devices, blower, chipper, stump grinder, loader.

Work Hours:

Hours varies (6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.), Monday - Friday, on call for emergencies on weekend

Physical, Mental, and Communication Demands:

Position requires frequent lifting of at least 50 Requires bending, squatting, kneeling and moving equipment on a daily basis. Operating power equipment which is heavy and loud. Requires good communication skills (verbal and written). Requires learning the skills and ability to operate all equipment. Must be self-motivated and able to handle various problems arising on the job and to follow specific instructions and safety procedures, working to specific routine. Requires a willingness to learn and grow with the company to reach advancement goals.

Skills/Knowledge:

Must have working knowledge of tree industry knots. Must have working knowledge of climbing techniques for tree removals and lowering of limbs. Knowledge of throwline techniques such as setting ropes and setting friction saver as needed. Knowledge of cutting techniques such as felling cuts, directional and notch cuts as well as step cuts are required. Proper use of lowering devices is also necessary. Must be able to safely operate a chainsaw, chipper, stump grinder, a loader, and an aerial lift.

Requirements:

Must have current Driver License.

Experience :

At least 1 yr. experience in related field.

Languages:
