Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tree Climber and become a vital part of our growing company. In this role, you will utilize your climbing skills, perform tree care, trimming, and removal tasks with precision and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, challenge yourself physically, but also save your body from the everyday rigors of climbing. Work from our new spider lift the majority of the time! Climb when necessary. This role is perfect for motivated individuals ready to make a tangible impact. Responsibilities Safely ascend trees using climbing gear, rigging techniques, and/or spider lift to access difficult or high branches. Perform pruning, trimming, and removal of trees in accordance with industry standards to promote tree health and safety. Operate spider lift and other equipment efficiently for elevated work tasks. Use proper rigging techniques to carefully lower branches, debris, and logs ensuring safety for team members and surrounding property. Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and documenting tree locations and conditions. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including tree health assessments, trimming logs, and rigging procedures. Requirements Proven growing experience in tree care, with a strong understanding of tree biology. Ability to safely climb and work in trees using proper rigging techniques and operate bucket trucks or aerial man-lift equipment. Knowledge and experience of proper tree trimming practices and tree care standards. Familiarity with rigging methods for safe removal or pruning of large trees. Strong physical fitness with the ability to work at heights for extended periods while maintaining safety protocols.
