Job Description
We are a growing tree care company based in downtown Watkinsville seeking an experienced Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a professional crew while performing all aspects of tree pruning, removals, and rigging operations. Responsibilities Climb trees using industry-approved climbing systems and techniques. Perform tree pruning, removals, cabling, and other tree care services. Execute rigging operations safely and efficiently. Operate and assist with chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and other tree care equipment. Communicate effectively with crew members and crew leaders. Maintain a clean and organized job site. Follow all company safety policies and industry best practices. Assist with ground operations when needed. Qualifications Previous professional tree climbing experience required. Knowledge of proper pruning techniques and tree care practices. Experience with rigging and technical tree removals. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Valid driver's license preferred; CDL is a plus. ISA certifications are a plus but not required.
