Arbor Applicator

The Applicator position generally consists of treating trees with different chemicals or working hard with our tree crews hauling branches and logs to chip up the debris. Tree service experience is preferred, but not required.

Other responsibilities may include:

Job Duties Read though work orders to determine what trees/bushes to treat and what chemical/s to use Complete each job ticket after it is completed Complete 25-30 stops a day Put a flag near the tree/trees that were treated for each stop Respect the customers property Answering incoming calls on your assigned work phone from customers Picking up chips and putting down dirt from stump grindings Positioning and operating the chipper Dumping or assisting with dumping chips Mulch & firewood deliveries Installing mulch Miscellaneous tasks around the shop building Filling up with fuel, cleaning out truck & inspecting truck at the end of the day Communicate any issues regarding equipment Use of safety equipment and following safety procedures Qualifications Illinois applicator certification is required Previous applicating experience is required Ability to lift 50-100 pounds Class A, B or C license preferred, but not required Standard class D license is required Tree service experience preferred but not required Ability to work in all weather conditions all year round Positive attitude and good work ethic Benefits Competitive pay Yearly performance bonus Health insurance Vacation and holiday pay The most up to date & efficient equipment Safety taken as a priority Weekends off (except for a storm damage emergency) Headquarters 12736 S.
