By reducing risks, preventing service outages, and accelerating project delivery, USG ensures that essential infrastructure is protected and efficiently maintained. USG is committed to enhancing safety and operational excellence in utility services and works closely with clients to optimize project outcomes. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Underground Utility Locator based in Chicago, IL. The Underground Utility Locator will be responsible for identifying and marking underground utilities using specialized equipment. Daily tasks include conducting thorough site assessments, documenting findings, and ensuring the safety of underground utility infrastructure. The role also involves collaborating with team members and clients to prevent utility damage during excavation activities. Qualifications Knowledge of utility locating, excavation, and experience in the utility industry Proficiency in computer literacy, including the use of mapping tools and reporting software Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and clients effectively Ability to interpret utility maps and follow safety protocols for field operations High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as required Prior experience in utility locating is preferred but not required Additionally please apply on website www.usgllc811.com, Thanks!
