Full-time Job Summary:

Looking for Big Boys who want to play with Big Toys! We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tree Climber to join our team. As a Tree Climber, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently climbing trees to perform various tree care and maintenance tasks. This is a physically demanding role that requires expertise in tree climbing techniques and equipment operation.

Duties:

• Safely climb trees using appropriate climbing techniques and equipment
• Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removals as directed
• Operate bucket trucks and other equipment for elevated work
• Use chainsaws, hand tools, and other equipment to complete tree care tasks
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines at all times
• Assist with clean-up and debris removal after tree work is completed
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Tree Climber or similar role
• Proficiency in tree climbing techniques, including the use of ropes, harnesses, and other safety equipment
• Familiarity with bucket truck operation for elevated work
• Knowledge of tree care practices, including trimming, pruning, and removals
• Ability to identify different types of trees and their specific needs
• Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Skills:

• Climbing Trees
• Experience with Chainsaw and operating equipment
• Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information System) software is a plus
• Experience operating bucket trucks or lifts for tree work is highly desirable
