Job Description

Agri Center is looking for an experienced Farm Equipment Service Technician to join our growing team. At Agri Center the Service Technician provides excellent customer service through the servicing of farm equipment.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Recondition, repair, assemble, and service farm equipment as coordinated with the Service Manager. Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Diagnose problems and determine what repairs are needed promptly, so parts may be ordered, and work can be scheduled as soon as possible. Perform inspections as needed. Accurately document work performed. Check and report any shortages or malfunctions to Service Manager. Perform accurately and efficiently to insure timely repairs and/or delivery. Ability to recognize and suggest any additional reports needed to Service Manager and/or Customer. Position requires some travel, approximately 20% of the time. Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly. Stay up to date on product bulletins and technical product changes. Follows all safety procedures and guidelines, and works in a safe manner. Perform other duties as determined by Service Manager.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of farm equipment. Strong physical dexterity for working with tools. Collaborates well with others and able to work individually. Strong communication skills. Willingness to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures. Punctual and reliable. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn in-house software.
