Landscape Maintenance

We are looking for experienced Landscape Maintenance workers to join our team. The ideal candidates will perform all landscaping activities while exceeding company quality expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Receives instructions from supervisor. Reports to supervisor when work is complete and/or with any problems or discrepancies with jobs. Maintains work area in a neat and clean manner. Returns tools and unused supplies to appropriate storage area at the end of each day. Advises supervisor of malfunctioning tools and equipment. Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures. Operates landscaping equipment, including mowers, weed eaters, edgers, blowers, hedge trimmers and various hand tools in accordance with approved operating requirements and safety procedures. Wears appropriate clothing and safety equipment in accordance with approved procedures. Checks oil and fuel in each landscape machine prior to the start of each machine. Ensures all equipment is secured while on job site. Protects items in the work area such as cars, windows and people from damage due to flying debris from equipment. Communicates any accidents/equipment malfunctions to supervisor immediately. Communicates/reports account problems such as bugs, broken sprinklers, running water or wet/dry areas to supervisor as noticed. Adheres to time clock procedures, safety rules and regulations, equipment operation, equipment maintenance and proper landscape procedures in accordance with company training procedures. Attends and participates in scheduled training sessions as required. Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures. Performs snow removal tasks as assigned by supervisor. Reports client questions to supervisor. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1-2 years of related experience and/or training. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Valid driver's license

Salary:

Negotiable-per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
