Jobs › Holyoke, MA › Inspections Technician Witman Properties Inspections Technician Holyoke, MA Apply \$22-24/hr for Inspections Technician Witman Properties is a privately owned, multi-service property management company located in Western MA. As part of the maintenance team at Witman Properties you will help maintain and improve the interior and exterior of managed properties for both tenants and owners. You will also be the eyes and ears for the office staff in the field. Duties/Responsibilities (outline but not limited to): ? Maintain inspection sheet- Inspect alarm systems (fire/co systems, alarms) & general inspections ? Learn Fire Code to stay current on requirements & buildings are being kept up to requirements ? Obtain smoke certifications from fire department, install fire extinguishers ? Follow directions and meet deadlines ? Effectively take notes and fill in all documentation/ sheets accurately and timely ? Effectively communicate with supervisor/ office ? Take clear accurate pictures ? Fill out and submit timesheets daily ? Call tenants & Schedule appointments- on calendar ? Maintain key room & key sheet ? Test & update keys ? Organize shop materials that comes in and put them back in material closet ? Hand Deliver notices - (welcome letters, walkthrough, inspections etc.) ? Survey buildings ? Perform general maintenance/ manual/ upkeep repairs/ give access/ create work orders ? Undertake light activities of pest control ? Assist with passing inspections as required ? Fill gaps as needed with emergencies, work orders, etc. ? Handel snow route in the winter-Complete all properties assigned on designated snow routine for all storms in winter (unless otherwise stated by office) (assist as needed with other routes) ? on-call rotation (open as needed) ? Skills:

? Basic maintenance tech skills, general maintenance processes and methods ? Ability to work off phone/ mobile device in the field and with office computer effectively ? Basic understanding of heating, cooling, plumbing home systems ? Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices ? Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills ? Good physical condition and strength for stairs, carrying heavy materials and snow etc. with a willingness to work overtime

Physical Requirements:

? Prolonged periods of standing walking and driving. ? Must be physically able to climb ladders, stairs, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces. ? Must be able to lift min of 50 pounds at a time. ? Shovel/ snow blow/ do snow route/ get in an out of truck for until route is completed
