Pesticide Applicator's License Full Job Description Pay:
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour Position Overview Responsible for the health care, and treatment of ornamental trees and shrubs on residential and commercial properties Focus on high-quality plant health care and professional client service Responsibilities Apply tree and shrub treatments including fertilization, insect control, disease control, and soil health applications Diagnose pest, disease, and nutrient deficiencies in trees and shrubs Mix, apply, and document pesticides and fertilizer in compliance with Michigan regulations Monitor plant health and recommend corrective actions or additional services Communicate professionally with clients regarding plant conditions and care recommendations Maintain accurate service records and application logs Operate and maintain spray equipment, trucks, and tools Follow all safety procedures, label requirements, and environmental best practices Qualifications Valid Michigan Pesticide Applicator License (3A + 3B) Strong knowledge of trees, shrubs, insects, and plant diseases common to Southeast Michigan Previous experience in tree and shrub care, lawn care, or horticulture preferred Ability to work independently and manage daily routes efficiently Valid Chauffeur's driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions bmBYwRHjws
