Tree Climber

Weiler's Tree Service is currently seeking an

EXPERIENCED

Tree Cutter/ Tree Climber to join our team. Eligible candidates MUST have tree cutting/ climbing experience listed on resume as well as a valid CDL Job duties are as follows, but are not limited to:

• Trim and/or remove trees by climbing with the aide of a ladder, safety belt, climbing line, or from a bucket truck. You may also work from the ground using chainsaws, pruner etc. to cut branches or trunk section
• Has knowledge of using ropes, knots, wedges, sledges, chainsaws and is able to cut or trim trees in to manageable pieces.
• Loads and unloads trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris and/or feeds brush to brush chippers
• Trims trees that may cause damage to homes or fences
• Work with groundsmen on placement of logs and brush
• Sets up barriers, warning signs, flags, etc. to protect fellow employees and public.
• Assumes responsibility for the inspection and proper working conditions of tools, trucks, and other work equipment. Requests repair or replacement, when necessary, Maintains good housekeeping on trucks.
• Assists other groundsmen on various job duties assigned by your superiors.
• Able to work around hazardous and loud equipment
• Works in all temperatures and weather and will be exposed to mother nature
• Performs other related work, as assigned by superiors.

Pay is solely dependent on your previous work experience. Weiler's Tree Service is a small family owned and operated tree business servicing the Bay City and surrounding residential areas.
