  • Contract Job Summary We are actively seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a dynamic and hands-on role.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in heavy equipment operation, tree care, and outdoor maintenance. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for executing essential tasks that ensure safety, efficiency, and quality in our projects. Your expertise will contribute directly to the successful completion of tree trimming, land clearing, and site development initiatives. This is a paid position designed for motivated individuals eager to apply their skills in a fast-paced environment that values precision and teamwork. Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery including excavators, loaders, and other equipment such as Caterpillar and GPS-guided systems to perform land clearing, excavation, and site preparation tasks. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, rigging, and climbing to ensure healthy growth and safety standards. Utilize bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment for high-reach work while maintaining strict safety protocols. Perform heavy lifting of materials, tools, and debris safely using proper techniques and equipment. Execute tree rigging procedures to facilitate safe removal or pruning of large or hazardous trees. Drive commercial vehicles responsibly while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment usage, and safety inspections throughout each project phase. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and bucket trucks. Demonstrated ability to perform loader operation with precision and safety awareness. Strong background in tree care including trimming, climbing techniques, rigging, and general arborist practices. Experience with bucket operation for aerial work at various heights. Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while following proper safety procedures. Skilled in the operation of heavy equipment brands like Caterpillar or similar machinery equipped with GPS systems for precise land management. Knowledge of tree trimming techniques and safety standards for outdoor work environments. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent license required for driving company vehicles.
